Jordan Peterson, geboren in Edmonton, Canada (1962), is een klinisch psycholoog, schrijver en hoogleraar, bekend van o.a. zijn boek 12 regels voor het leven (12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos). Zijn doordachte manier van presenteren en oog voor detail in zowel zijn eigen betoog als in de vragen uit het publiek maken hem een aanrader voor wie geïnteresseerd is in feitelijk perspectief op ingewikkelde thema’s als politieke correctheid, identiteitspolitiek en vrijheid van meningsuiting.
